I’m Arina Mikhailova—a professional photographer based in Toronto, Canada.

Photography is not just my profession; it’s my life, my language, and the way I connect with the world. I don’t just take pictures—I preserve moments, remember stories, capture ideas, and bring them to life through powerful imagery. Every shoot is more than a job; it’s an opportunity to translate emotion into a visual story.

My journey began in Europe, moved through North America, and now extends across the globe. Influenced by art, cinema, music, and the rhythm of everyday life, I constantly experiment with light, texture, and technique to discover new ways of storytelling. I’m deeply fascinated by people—their psychology, individuality, and energy—and my work reflects this curiosity. Through my lens, I aim to reveal what’s felt, not just what’s seen.

Over the past seven years, I’ve photographed portraits, weddings, events, and editorial projects, collaborating with talented artists, stylists, makeup artists, and creative teams to craft visual narratives that are raw, stylish, and emotionally charged. My style is defined by cinematic color, film grain, fabric textures, slow shutter speeds, and the bold use of light.

I’ve worked with a range of companies and organizations, including CIBC, KFW, FAT, CANIFF, Kaboom Promotions, and several international productions featuring celebrities. My work has been published in outlets such as PAP Magazine, MOB Journal, and more.
